A Minecraft server list ranked by player votes, with every server pinged directly so the player count is what you will find when you join. Filter by game mode, version and country to find a Survival, SMP, Skyblock or minigame server that fits how you play.

Minecraft server types

Survival Minecraft servers(1)

The vanilla experience with other people: gather, build and survive, usually with land claims and an economy added so builds are protected from griefing.

SMP servers

Survival multiplayer with a smaller, often whitelisted community. SMPs are about the people as much as the world, so the Discord and the application process tell you more than the player count.

Skyblock servers(1)

You start on a small island in the void and expand it with limited resources. Most Skyblock servers add island upgrades, minions and an economy on top.

Factions servers

Build a base with your faction, raid other factions and defend against raids. Factions rewards active teams, and maps usually reset on a regular cycle.

Prison servers

Mine to earn money, rank up through prison blocks and unlock better mines and tools. It is a progression grind, so check how often the server resets ranks.

Lifesteal servers

Killing a player takes one of their hearts and dying loses one of yours. A competitive survival variant where running out of hearts usually means a ban until revived.

Minigame networks(1)

Large networks running many short game modes — BedWars, SkyWars, duels, parkour — behind one lobby. Usually the busiest servers on the list.

Anarchy servers(1)

No rules, no resets and no staff intervention in gameplay. Hacked clients, griefing and spawn wastelands are part of the experience, not a bug.

Java or Bedrock?

  • Java Edition servers are joined from the PC game using the server address, by default on port 25565. Most large networks and modded servers are Java.
  • Bedrock Edition servers serve consoles, mobile and Windows Bedrock, by default on port 19132. Some networks run a bridge so Bedrock players can join a Java server.
  • Check the version shown on a listing before joining — a server on a newer version than your client will refuse the connection.

About Minecraft Servers on VoteRank

Every server on this list is pinged directly over the Minecraft Server List Ping protocol — the same request your client makes on the multiplayer screen — so the player count next to a server is what you will actually find when you join, not a number its owner typed in. Offline servers are marked as offline rather than quietly ranked as if nothing happened. The list covers survival and SMP, skyblock, factions, prison, towny, anarchy and minigame networks, from 20-slot whitelisted communities to networks with tens of thousands online. Owners who install Votifier get vote rewards delivered in-game the instant you vote, which is what the reward badge on a row means.

Frequently asked questions

How do live player counts work?

We query each server directly over the Minecraft Server List Ping protocol every few minutes — the same request your game client makes on the multiplayer screen.

What is Votifier and do I need it?

Votifier is a plugin that lets us notify your server the instant someone votes, so rewards are delivered in-game immediately. It is optional but strongly recommended.

How do I join a Minecraft server?

On Java Edition open Multiplayer, choose Add Server and paste the server address. On Bedrock open the Servers tab, scroll to Add Server and enter the address and port. The address is published on the server's website or Discord, both linked from its listing.

What is the best Minecraft server for survival?

It depends on how many people you want around you. Large survival servers have economies and events; SMPs are smaller and more social. Filter this list by the survival or SMP tag and compare live player counts and reviews.

Can I find Minecraft Bedrock servers here?

Yes. Servers that accept Bedrock players say so in their version and tags, and many Java networks run a bridge so Bedrock players can join the same world.

Why does a server show as offline?

We ping each server every few minutes. If it does not answer, the listing is marked offline rather than showing an old player count. A server down for maintenance comes back online automatically on the next successful ping.

How often are the rankings updated?

Continuously. A vote changes the ranking the moment it is counted, and player counts are refreshed every few minutes. Monthly vote totals reset at 00:05 UTC on the 1st, so every list starts each month from zero and lifetime votes keep the order sensible until new votes come in.
